John Harrell
John Harrell is an entrepreneur who runs a successful business, hosts a podcast (The Determined People Podcast), writes a daily inspirational blog and is a public speaker. His first book, “Killing My Father Then Finding Him” was published in 2018 and hit bestseller the first day of publication. His next book, presumptively titled “Stop Rationalizing and Start Living” is due out in September of 2022.
John is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Rachel’s Challenge, the largest in-school program in the world which focuses on kindness and compassion. Named for Rachel Joy Scott, the first child killed at Columbine High School, Rachel’s story of reaching out to troubled students and the impact she had on them has been experienced by over 30 million people worldwide. He is the (usually) proud father of two sons and lives in Austin, Texas.
